Ardmore Driveway Makeover

Our clients in Ardmore were dealing with a constant headache — their driveway was little more than a mud pit. Every time it rained, it flooded. Every time they walked inside, they tracked in mud. That’s where we came in.

At IP Civil and Landscaping, we started by completely redesigning the space. First, we removed all the spoil and clay to reshape the driveway properly. We added new drainage with cesspits placed in the low-lying areas and a long slat drain installed at the bottom of the shed to handle runoff effectively.

Once the groundwork was complete, we boxed the area to a 150mm depth and poured the concrete, mixing in 2.5% black oxide to soften the colour and avoid that bright, harsh concrete look. The result was a smooth, clean finish that looked right at home with the rest of the property.

The best part? No more flooding. No more muddy footprints. Just a functional, great-looking driveway that our Ardmore clients are genuinely thrilled with.
