Muriwai Staircase

Charlie recently approached us to design and build a staircase that would provide safe and practical access to the lower section of his property, which previously had no access at all.

Located in Muriwai, right by the coast, this project required careful material selection to withstand the harsh seaside environment. All fixings and screws used were stainless steel to prevent corrosion and ensure long-term durability.

Due to the steep terrain and limited access, we were unable to use machinery on site. Instead, we installed screw piles to create a strong and stable foundation for the staircase without the need for a digger.

The end result is a solid, long-lasting structure that blends into the natural landscape while significantly improving accessibility for the property.
